Shannon & Jacob’s Seascape Beach Resort Aptos wedding was a magical misty day above the Monterey Bay, full of moments both touching and joyful.

Shannon & Jacob came to me through Mandi Nack of Monterey wedding planner and coordinator A Sparkling Event. Mandi and her crew always do an amazing job and this was no exception — from the gorgeous ceremony on the bluff to the immaculately decorated reception.

There were some really fun surprises at this wedding. A bagpiper greeted guests as they entered the reception. And during the speeches, a flash mob performance of The Time Warp song from Rocky Horror Picture Show surprised and delighted the newlyweds.

To night ended with a super fun dance party, closing with epic sing-a-longs to classic rock songs, some of them led by DJ Adam.
