Yvonne & Andrew got married under a ring of redwoods in the mountains, dined with friends and family in a meadow, and partied into the night as part of a celebration that lasted the whole weekend.

That’s one of the benefits of a Pema Osel Ling wedding: There are options for extended stays, with room for many guests to sleep or camp. Yvonne & Andrew are friends of mine, and when they told me that they had selected Pema Osel Ling Retreat Center for their wedding I was thrilled.

Yvonne is a designer, and her wedding details were full of evidence of her talent — especially the calligraphy. Another friend of ours (also a designer), married them, and Jerrold did an amazing job on the ceremony. The flowers and decor provided by Flowerstory were incredible — Yvonne had puffs of cotton in her bouquet, something I’ve never seen before.

We had beautiful weather in the Santa Cruz Mountains that day, making for an inviting evening to enjoy the dance floor. And enjoy they did — Yvonne & Andrew happen to know some very good dancers (like Yvonne’s dad!).
