Leticia & Paul’s Whittier wedding

Leticia & Paul's Catholic wedding

Leticia & Paul did a great job of making their Whittier wedding into wonderful reflection of their personalities and interests — from the Catholic ceremony and vintage dancehall reception to details like the Lego cake topper and Doctor Who ring box.

Throughout it all, they were surrounded by family and friends, making for a warm and relaxed wedding celebration.

I’ve known Paul for several years through my friend George, and was thrilled when he and Leticia decided to bring me down to Los Angeles for their wedding. They got ready in together their apartment, Paul cooking breakfast while Leticia and her mother got their hair done. We then went to beautiful Santa Fe Springs Heritage Park for portraits and family photos. After their Catholic wedding ceremony at St. Bruno Church, everybody mingled outside then headed to the ballroom at Memories, a dancehall in uptown Whittier built in 1902.

There we were greeted by a lavishly decorated room and entertainment by Mariachi Malibu, who added a personal touch to the music, playing songs by request for every table. After a buffet dinner, the dance floor opened, Leticia & Paul’s guests showed that they know how to have a good time.

It was indeed a good time, with great people and a gorgeous day. Check out my favorite images in the gallery below.
