Kayla & Ray got married under a massive oak tree and sunny skies during their Sheriff’s Posse Grounds Salinas wedding, surrounded by friends and family who helped them celebrate with lots of dancing and good times at one of the most unique venues in Monterey County.
The coast live oak was what brought Kayla and Ray to the Posse Grounds, they were set on getting married under a big beautiful tree in the Fall, and the giant tree there fit the bill. I knew I wanted to incorporate the tree into a special image for them, and a gorgeous sunset and some extra lighting produced the picture at the top of this blog post.
Kayla is a wedding planner with A Sparkling Event, Monterey County’s best wedding planner, so the wedding and reception was beautifully decorated. So many fun details were part of the wedding: the bride’s boots, classic cars bringing the wedding party to the ceremony, their puppy as part of the procession, a freestanding doorway for the ceremony entrance.
