Stephanie & Johnathan’s Quail Lodge Carmel wedding was a dance with the weather on what turned out to be a lovely spring day full of lush green grass and golden rays of sun leading to a very fun party.

Quail Meadows is the beautiful outdoor location for wedding ceremonies at Quail Lodge & Golf Club in Carmel Valley, though the venue offers ample space for an indoor ceremony if rain threatens. Steph & John stuck with their dream of an outdoor wedding as mist filled the air, and planner Mandi from A Sparkling Event expertly moved everything into place when the air cleared five minutes before the scheduled ceremony time. It worked out great and made for a memorable and dramatic union under changing skies and white clouds.

The reception reflected the couple’s love of travel, with a globe as a guest book and a cake shaped like luggage.
