With a ceremony in a soaring cathedral and a reception in a beautiful art gallery, Gertrude & Greg’s St. Ignatius San Francisco wedding was the kind of awesome day that even a little rain couldn’t put a damper on.
While the weather certainly kept us on our toes — with everything from bright sun to unfettered downpours — the wedding had the most incredible venues so it hardly mattered. St. Ignatius is an iconic San Francisco church, with high ceilings and a massive sanctuary, a very impressive and beautiful place for a wedding. The de Young Museum is also iconic and beautiful, with a cocktail hour in a tower surrounded by wide windows and dinner and dancing in a room gorgeously decorated with many custom details crafted by the creative couple.
We also visited the University of San Francisco for photos on the front steps and the Palace of Fine Arts, which always makes for an amazing photo location (despite battling some cold wind and rain on this particular day).
Gertrude & Greg’s guests were not shy about getting on the dance floor, the reception was a super fun party, capping off a great day that took us around the city. Check out my favorite photos in the gallery below.
