Let’s see … paddling on a pond in a canoe, an air guitar performance with inflatable toy guitars, a Frank Sinatra impersonator, crowd surfing during the reception … these are just a few of the things that made Anna & Taylor’s Olympia’s Valley Estate wedding so memorable.
Anna and Taylor put a lot of thoughtful work into their wedding, and it showed in the highly personalized experience that was the entire day. From getting ready at her parents’ home, to the Catholic ceremony at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Petaluma, to the beautiful and fun reception at Olympia’s Valley Estate, everything was just right. The wedding and reception were filled with beautiful details, and although there was a lot going on through the whole day, it never felt rushed. Everyone had space to enjoy the day and celebrate with Anna & Taylor.
And celebrate they did! Once the dance floor opened it stayed full all night, giving my second photographer Nathan and me lots of fun scenes to shoot. We were able to sneak out with Anna & Taylor at sunset for a portrait session, taking advantage of the amazing locations at Olympia’s Valley Estate. They paddled the canoe around the pond, then hitched a ride to the top of the hill above the barn as the sun dipped behind the horizon. (I love this venue and am honored and excited to be returning two more times this year!)
The day’s events were kept on track by Aliya of Hatched Creations, whose organization and attention to detail made for a seamless experience.
I could go on and on about this wedding, but I’ll let the photos take it from here.
