A year ago today I had the honor of helping Matt Mills McKnight photograph Frances and Justin’s amazing Kunde Estates wedding. Then, two days ago, I photographed Matt’s wedding, where Frances was a bridesmaid and Justin was a guest.

I love when everything comes full circle.

So today I want to wish Frances and Justin a happy anniversary by sharing some of the images I produced on their day at Kunde Family Estates in Kenwood, a gorgeous place for a wedding. They got married inside the ruins of a winery from the late 1800s that produced California’s first Cabernet Savignon, and the reception was on a hilltop among the vineyards of Kunde Estates. Matt’s then-fiancée, now-wife Rosie was a bridesmaid that day, so Matt brought Nathan Weyland and me to help out so that he could spend some time with Rosie during the reception. (Speaking of full-circle, Nate was a groomsman in Matt’s wedding!)

We all had a fantastic day working with Frances & Justin, who were not only amazing subjects, but really know how to throw a great party. We were graced with incredibly good weather and a gorgeous sunset. Many of the photos I made that day went directly into the ‘favorites’ section of my portfolio. Take a look in the gallery below:
