A San Francisco City Hall wedding, a dinner at Wayfare Tavern, a champagne toast in a suite at The Fairmont … Dawn and Zach’s wedding day had a lot of fun activities. And they kept the fun going the next day with a reception barbecue at Golden Gate Park.
Dawn and Zach are close personal friends of mine (and were the subject of a fun San Francisco engagement session earlier this year.) Their wedding celebration was full of elements that reflected their personality. The event felt intimate and cozy the entire time, even while being set in some very elegant venues.
Dawn and Zach said their vows in the rotunda at the top of the large staircase at San Francisco City Hall. Later, in the suite at the Fairmont, they said vows again, and Zach performed the song he wrote for Dawn when he proposed.
Speaking of songs, there was a fun musical performance at the reception barbecue, and I even had the honor of playing a few songs with the groom. (I’m in one of the pictures in the gallery below; thanks to Conner Jay for the photo!)
The food at Wayfare Tavern was unbelievable, and as an after-dinner treat, best man Lucas bought cigars. Guests enjoyed the amazing views of San Francisco from the wide windows of the Fairmont suite. With many guests coming from out-of-town, Dawn and Zach did a great job of showing off their city.
