I knew the party at Veronica & Noe’s wedding reception would be a great one when I walked into Bayonet Black Horse and saw that the dance floor was twice the size of what it is usually.
They made use of it — Veronica, Noe, and their friends and family danced the night away as music played and lights flashed.
But let’s begin at the beginning.
Our day started at the place it all began for Veronica & Noe — Salinas High, where they met. We did a first look photo in front of the picturesque school, then had time to shoot a series of portraits of them there — including the picture at the top of this blog post.
The ceremony at Sacred Heart Parish was beautiful. After the Salinas wedding, it was on to their Seaside reception venue, Bayonet Black Horse golf course, where we were able to photograph the couple in a gorgeous classic car. A mariachi band entertained guests during the cocktail hour. After dinner, a few tears were shed during the speeches and first dances, and then it was fun time.
The dance floor was transformed into a night club by DJ Sho T, with a dramatic light show that gave me some interesting options for cool photos — especially when the fog machine turned on.
After a couple hours of partying, a self-serve taco bar opened in the next room, allowing guests to refuel before dancing some more.
With the help of planner Samantha of TreSoiree, Veronica and Noe put together a flawless wedding day — even the weather was beautiful! Check out my favorite photos below.
